The green flash is a small green rectangle on the left-hand edge of the plate, available only for genuinely zero-emission vehicles, never hybrids or plug-in hybrids. This matters more with Citroen than most brands because nearly every model name exists in both forms. A C3 is not automatically electric, only an e-C3 is, and the same applies to e-C3 Aircross, e-C4, e-C4 X, e-C5 Aircross, e-Berlingo and e-SpaceTourer, each paired with a non-electric version of the same base name.
