The EV green flash option for electric BMWs

The i4, iX, iX1 and iX3 are BMW's genuinely zero-emission models, so owners of those cars may be eligible to order the green flash option alongside their plate. This does not apply to the plug-in hybrid 330e or 530e range, since a hybrid is not zero-emission even where it can run on electric power for part of a journey. The green flash is optional, not a legal requirement, and is commonly understood to help with recognition under some local low-emission schemes.
